Santiago Cetran
A multimedia-trained developer connecting backend systems, IoT and web applications. From 2022 to 2026, he worked at AlterMundi on LibreIncu, WANDA and SAI.
Santiago is a software developer with experience in backend development —primarily Python and Flask—, Linux, AWS, web applications and IoT systems integration. Since July 2026 he has worked full-time at Líneas Marítimas Riccitelli. He previously worked full-time at AlterMundi from September 2022 to April 2026, developing projects that connected hardware, open software and concrete territorial needs through AI-assisted methods.
At LibreIncu, he contributed to the first functional prototype of the incubator-monitoring system, integrating temperature and humidity sensors. These units are in use in communities across Córdoba as part of open productive infrastructure for family farming.
For WANDA, he led the development of a web application for Raspberry Pi 5-based telescopes, designed to control astrophotography sessions remotely and explore a future distributed observation network. In SAI, he participated in the conceptual planning of the early wildfire-alert system and presented project updates with the team at Edge City Patagonia in 2025.
He was also a junior software developer at Blinktrip from 2024 to 2025 and worked as a designer at Grupo Wellness Latina from 2021 to 2022. His public work includes BitmapForge, an open tool for generating bitmap animations from 3D models, as well as experiments with distributed networks, MCP and AI agents.
He completed a degree in Multimedia Design at Escuela Da Vinci from 2020 to 2024, covering animation, graphic design and visual production. He attended St Lukes College, a bilingual secondary school.
